Whoa...this is going to be awesome!!

We made it into San Diego today - 66 miles. It's the longest ride I have ever done and am feeling well...a bit tired :) but well. Funny story though: I was going up the last LARGE hill of the day and was going rather slow...so slow in fact that i just fell over :) It was hilarious! I wish you all could have seen it.

Regarding Long Beach: I was so impressed and blessed by the hospitality of the church. They are amazing people and I couldn't have asked for a better place to start the ride. They gave us a send off from the church parking lot. They prayed and then cheered as we rolled out. It was a gift. Thank you.

Speaking of a gift, our team is radically AWESOME. Wow! I've been a part of a lot of teams and I have to say that this team is going to be an amazing group of people to live life with the next 8 weeks. Our team has a real servant mentality already and you can tell they are passionate about what we are doing. They are inspiring to me and as a non biker who was slightly more then terrified to take this venture, they are making it much easier.
