What I tried to Tweet

As you may know, Twitter experienced technical difficulties last week which prohibited status updates sent via text message from showing up online. As a result, my coverage of the final leg of the Ride:Well Tour suffered. With this post, I would like to complete my reporting by showing you what I tried to Tweet and what I would have told you if I could. Enjoy!

Last night I had dinner with my cousins from Leesburg: Steve, Anne, Molly and Frank. It was so fun to see them.

Anthony rode into Baltimore this morning with Drew because he had to get back to Cali before the trip ends. Don't worry, he rode right to the water!

I am dressed in spandex, my Ride:Well jersey and my dented helmet and am back on the good old bike for a 53 mile ride into Baltimore!

Fixing a flat and getting ready to ride tomorrow. I'm not sure how far I will go due to the stitches in my leg, but I will do what I can.

We made it!!! I can NOT believe I just rode my longest day ever (136 miles) a week after getting a gash in my leg. This is incredible!

Ok, so I just crossed the entire continent by bicycle in 8 weeks. Ocean to ocean. Mountains, deserts, small towns, large cities. Total distance: 3400 miles. Wow! Seriously, can you believe it?
