Thanks to Ride:Well '09

Hey there Ride:Well,

I just wanted to thank all of you for riding as a part of Ride:Well this year. I had a great time meeting you this weekend and I wish that I could have been there for more, especially to ride out with you yesterday. It is funny how things time out sometimes, but now that you are gone and my graphic design project is over, I have two days off. Wish I could have shifted things around a bit, because it was exciting and interesting to meet as many of you as I did. As it stands there were some of you that I hardly spoke with, and those of you I did meet, I would love to know better.

So let me say 'thank you' to you all. I am grateful for what you are doing and it was very encouraging for me to see you guys together, dancing to Cyndi Lauper, and slack-lining, and hanging out at the pool. It is a remarkable thing, the type of community that forms when you take on something like this, and people who haven't been there the whole way with you, will likely not be able to understand the types of bonds that are forming between you. Thank you for sharing your weekend with me and allowing to remember the truth and the depths of this type of community.

Please continue to love each other and support each other as you ride. Seek to serve one another, the communities you enter and our brothers and sisters in Marsabit, and be mindful that in doing so, by the work of a Divine mystery, you are serving Christ. Be blessed by Him as you ride on.
