Hello Ride:Well folks.

I am not a writer, but I still want to share the life changing experience that happened from being a part of the Ride:Well Tour. It's been about three months since my last post. But hey, better late than never!

...I guess I was waiting to write once I was completely settled back into "reality" but little did I realize, that is never going to happen. You can not just ride your bike across America with 16 other people for two months, raising money to provide much more than water for people you don't know, and just go back into "reality". My life is forever changed. My thinking has changed, my care for material things has decreased, and my mental power has increased. I am not a new, but better person.

It is hard to put together words to describe an experience like Ride:Well. There is so much that took place as we traveled to over 50 churches, 8 states, and lived 24/7 with 16 people. The strangers I knew over facebook in May turned into my family in June. We shared many memories, good, bad, sad, funny, honest, loving, powerful, and God appointed moments. Life on the tour was not about pleasing ourself. And it reminded me that in "reality" it should not please myslef. I need to be selfless.

Since the tour has ended I spent a month home in Chicago, then headed back up to school in Minneapolis. Since Venture is based in Minneapolis, I have the great opportunity to Intern with them! It is a blast. I love it.

Until next time... :)

PS. I miss my team.
