Host Home Happiness

I went to Phoenix this weekend to visit some ride:well 09 friends and was able to go and have dinner with one of the families that hosted us while we were in Chandler last summer. It was wonderful to reconnect with them and see their continued excitement for what we are doing! They are already ready to host us again this summer! :) The family that had us for dinner are such amazing people who are outrageously hospitable. I continue to be overwhelmed by how giving the people were we met last summer. It's a beautiful thing when people from all over can come together and meet one another's needs in simple ways. My visit to Phoenix was a reminder of how huge an impact these tours have, not only on ourselves but those we meet along the way. I am so excited to reconnect with friends and form new friendships all along the south this summer. I am super super pumped for my team members who will be riding for the first time and will be able to experience the bliss of many of our host homes and the collection of people we will meet along the way. They will be a huge part of the change that happens in us and in Africa! So excited!!
