It's 4:30am....creativity in title creation doesn't come around till at least 8am. In any case, I saw the preview for the wrap on the van and thought it's title was rather fitting, and it also made me laugh at all the names either myself or friends have ever given our motorized counterparts. With that said, here's to you, Mother Falcon...I'm excited to be a little tercel under your exquisite winged protection.

I'm not sure what any of that had to do with anything, but I figured I haven't blogged in a while and it would be appropriate to do so while sitting in the airport on the brink of such an adventure. I couldn't be more excited and nervous as we have all felt and read about the last couple of months. It's hard to believe it's already here....staring at us in the face.

It's hard to sit here thinking about all the people I'm not going to see for 2 months. The friends and family we leave behind, or the comfortable routine of our jobs or school, but I'm rejuvenated by the thought of meeting a group of people with such a passion that transcends any selfish desire or motives. I'm excited for that, and I only hope I can bring something fruitful back to those I leave behind.

Recent news:

I successfully completed 100 miles in one day on my bike a couple weekends ago, but as Iron Mike would say, "I'm just getting warmed up." That's humbling to know......hah

As the legend grows of the "handlebar mustache" so does my facial forest in preparation for continuation of the tradition. I'm afraid I'm a little less follicly endowed than our 08 counterparts but spotty and slowly but surely it grows....

My battle with the munchies continues and I think has grown worse the last week with my bike gone, food is my worst enemy...

planes boarding....AHHHH THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING.

Hey brother[Arrested Development]....

And the saga continues back in good ole' Wellington. What in the world am I going to do?!?!?! It gets more interesting every day brother...but I will cope. I hope.

I admire you more than you know. It will be my passion in the next two months to be your partner in prayer. Everyday, I will pray not just for you to make it the whole way, but also find that piece of the puzzle. These two months are your's and God's.....just sit back, peddle, and let Him do the talking.
