Hey friends!

Easter thoughts-
Although I had to work, today has been such a day of reflection and humility. What a great honor to be risen as a new creation because the One that was given as the ultimate sacrifice did so first. Indeed He is risen, conquering sin and death and granting us the gift of eternal life! I don't think it's a coincidence that Easter falls in the beginning of Spring. It's a season of new life, and never before has that meant more to me than now. What a challenge we have ahead of us, but let our doubt and worries fuel our faith. Let a servant's heart consume our consciousness and motivate our passions. Let us take up our position in the Kingdom of Heaven with great diligence for "He works all things together for good for them that love God and who are "called" according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Random thoughts-
*Riding an actual bike, finally, plasters a smile on my face from start till finish.
*I have yet to succumb to shaving my legs...the thought crosses my mind several times a day.....yes? no? maybe? what will people think of me? will it feel nice? will it make me aerodynamic? neat.
*I worry about my ability to bare children in the future. I'm currently looking for a new saddle that has the cut-out for the "perineum area".... precautions.
*I have fallen in love with the commando bike shorts idea...I wear them everywhere now. Around the house, playing basketball, in wal-mart. I tell myself I've got to get used to it, but the truth is it's nice.
*when riding alone at dusk.... squirrels are a scary thing. Their ability to sound like a large bear coming out of the woods gets me everytime.

Cheers Team! See everyone sooooooon!

I'm with you on the saddle thing. I've got a Brooks on my road bike, and that's awesome, but I rode my fixie 25 miles the other day and the racing saddle was killing me.

Cody is dead on about the squirrels! On my run they are crazy scarry sometimes. There are hundreds of them and they get so close sometimes and you hear something and kinda makes you jump....Im sure I look insane when I run and lots of squirrels are around. Yes!! God will work things out for good! In just 58 days, God willing, we are all going to meet! SWEET!!

I also am surprise how comfortable I am in spandex. Now I don’t have a real bike yet. But do squirrels really sound like bears. And do you have bears in Ohio? I don’t know if that is some thing you have to worry about.
