Crossed the First State Line...
I am so overwelmed by the encouragement you guys have given me!! I love you all so much!! So the last couple days have been intense. The first real day of riding was almost all climbing. Now I am not talking about Texas flume (for those who know what that is) I can't even describe this craziness. It was so steep that I was going 2-3 miles per hour several times. There were some mountains and I conquered them!! We camped out that night and the stars were so awesome! I loved it!
The next couple of days of been through the desert. The day to El Centro was a day to remember. close your eyes and imagine....a hot blow dryer blowing on your face, your skin a purplish tan, and feeling like you might pass out at any second. Now I know that sounds extreme...and IT WAS!!! I was about 10 miles away from the destination and I started throwing up. I threw up while riding my bike. It was so gross. And an adventure.
I feel like I have known the people on my team for years. Each and every person has such flavor to add to the team! We are having a blast!!
I am really having the time of my life!!

So glad you are celebrating each accomplishment: 1st state line, conquering the mountains. Keep it up...there will be many more things to add to your list. You can do it.

I can't believe you guys went to up those hills that first day..that was our third day last year. When I heard you were starting there...well lets just say you all are amazing! We're praying for your team!

You guys are hardcore!! You all already have so many crazy stories to tell. I dont believe our team has even hit the extremities you guys are already going through, but know that you all are in our prayers. And we will update you on our sufferings when they come so you all can do the same. Crystal I love ya. You are always an optimist. keep it up girl! telt mel and everyone I said hey and just keep pedaling:D
