• Mind really is over matter
  • Riding with people is exponentially better than riding alone
  • There is a reason why EVERYONE told us that riding from South to North was the wrong direction, that reason is called headwind.
  • Honey and mustard sandwiches are the most brilliant discovery!
  • Dance parties are always appropriate
  • Not everyone from Minnesota wear bonnets and have chickens... but many do
  • Life is more fun when you share it with a consistent group of people
  • There is hope for the church and the negative statistics seen by the world do not include the positivity of the love poured out to us along the ENTIRE west coast
  • Sarah Groves is amazing
  • Pavement can be very comfortable after a long ride
  • California is huge... it just keeps going and going
  • People should not be judged by the coffee they drink, their comprehension of red vines vs. twizlers, or their lack of knowledge about vital aspects of life such as Crumpets, these things can be learned.
  • Sometimes it takes sitting in the van and watching your team cycle on to realize how much you love them and want to serve them; humility sometimes needs to be forced on a stubborn person.
  • It's always time for coffee
  • Oregon truly is the best state ever!
  • The cure for insomnia is a total depletion of the body by cycling all day long
  • My default voice is some random accent that is not always traceable
  • Not everyone likes to eat their food in a logical and ordered progression
  • Flat tires are not so bad when you have a friend to lighten the mood with a joke or help pump air when your arms are too weak
  • Cottage cheese and pancakes!
  • After riding one-hundred miles, a person cannot be held accountable for their actions
  • Eating together truly brings a group of people closer
  • The church is not made up of people who agree on doctrine and practice or translation and lifestyle, the church is made up of people with a common love and a desire to love the world more deeply. We will always disagree on most things, but we will also always agree on one thing and that should be the focus.
  • At the end of the day, when it's all said and done, there's really one solution to everything... "pedal like you stole it!"
