The first day... it was just Jordan and I and it was such a beautiful day! I enjoyed being out in the warm sun and the blue sky. We rode about 15 miles that day, give or take a few.
Then I just rode a few miles in between then and yesterday.
Yesterday, Jordan, Mario and I around about 25 miles all together. We had a great time, we got coffee, went to a chapel, got pulled over by the cops, Mario broke a chain ring, we went to bullseye bike shop to get it fixed, then went on a 20 mile ride outside of town, got some free hot box pizza, and then rode home! It was an eventful and joyous day!
When I think about the tour I am imagining it going something like that, a series of events, laughs, singing, and possibly getting pulled over by the cops. I am so pumped for the tour and to be riding along side my brothers and sisters for a bigger purpose than ourselves, i am ready to continue advocating for Blood:Water Mission in California, I am hopeful that the Lord will provide accordingly and that we all continue to trust him daily with the life he has given us.
"If you dwell on how stressed you are, or how tired, or how sick or overwhelmed, you're done. You're dwelling on your empty tank. But if, on those depleted days, you consciously focus on your Lord's inexhaustible strength, your Lord's unlimited power, you will be able to keep driving when you thought you couldn't go another mile.
