My wife is Sandra Obrey, and a member of the 2011 Southern Tour.  Sandra is going to turn 40 this year when she starts the tour.  I don't know how many times we have laughed (and cried) about the fact that she must be crazy to be doing this at her age, especially when many of the riders on the team are almost half her age.  As she trains for this incredible event, her 40-year-old body is beginning to complain and complain loudly.  And me...her husband... her partner....and biggest fan, am…

Dear Obrey Household- Sorry! I'm technologically challenged and didn't know I could get messages on this site! Just stumbled onto your comment today, July 13. What a loser I am! I would like to thank YOU for hosting my son! It is such a reassurance to me to know that another mother is ministering to him along the way when I can't be there! Not that I get to see him all that much anyway, but, that he has caring support is a blessing to me! He has had nothing to say but praise for his stay with you! He enjoyed your kids so much and was so impressed by them! He was also most appreciative of the "endless streams of food" that were aimed his way! He is truly appreciative of that as he lived the last 4 years eating dorm/frat food! I can't thank you enough for opening your home and your hearts to him!
