Life After RWT

Henson Gap.
The two words I will never forget.
The two miles I will never forget.
The toughest road i have ever traveled.
A few days ago the team and I faced one of the most changeling times on the road. We biked up a mountain in two very steep miles. Usually it take us between16-30. We did it in two. And it all begins.
I'm writing to you from Yuma, Arizona. Today is my day off which is why I am finally blogging....I haven't had the time, energy or the wifi to blog the past few days :) But I promise to blog at least once a week.
I drove down with the leaders over a week ago from Minneapolis to San Diego. I I spent about a week in the beautiful city of San Diego for team training...and some past time joys as well like surfing :) I will post pictures soon!
The first day biking out of San Diego was hard. We biked up the mountains with the incline of 3,000 feet! Then next two days were HOT. We biked in 110 degree weather for about 80 miles each day. I love it. I may be sore, tired, and forming a horrible farmers tan, but the ability I have of riding my bike for miles a day to raise money for clean water and a better community in Kenya I pray will never neglect. I'm stoked for the rest of the summer to play out! :)
