About Me:
I recently returned from the most amazing journey, thus far, in my life...living in Benin, Africa for 6 months. In October of 2007 I boarded a plane with two of my friends to film a documentary on child trafficking. Our mission is to bring awareness to this issue and inspire Americans to get involved and be the change. We also plan to create a short film that we will take back to the country of Benin in the summer of 2009 to educate people there on the dangers of trafficking their children. Working with Unseen Stories has been a life changing experience for me. The journey hasn't always been easy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I am a friend of Jessica Blocker and I am so excited for her as she embarks on this journey of a lifetime. Having lived in Africa, I think this ride is an amazing way to raise awareness and bring change for people in Africa.

Sure, the official website is http://www.sonsoflwala.com but I started my own blog for the screening: http://sonsoflwalascreening.blogspot.com I actually found out about it from the Blood:Water Mission website! :) So happy to have connected with you! A like-minded person, although you've taken much more dramatic steps!! Delete Comment

Hi, Jen! I think what you're doing is awesome. I read some of your blog. I am just about to host a fundraising screening dealing with Africa, too, (Sons of Lwala). I would think your work must be heartbreaking, but so very important.
