Thursday May 13th, 2010 was a terribly sad day. Erin McDermott and I decided to bike up South Mountain that day, and we never looked back. Behind us stood our pubescent sillouettes drifting into oblivion like a orphaned balloon, lifting higher and higher with every hill we tortuised up...on our granny gears. As the trip crawls nearer and nearer to becoming a reality, I become evermore aware of my overall naivete about this whole thing. Che Guevara's(Sorry no cool quotes from Jesu, MLK, or..... Levitucus lol) words come to mind, "The enormity of our endeavor escaped us in those moments; all we could see was the dust on the road ahead and ourselves on the bike, devouring kilometers in our flight northward."
