Wheels down at 6:30. I awoke to the sun rising above the mountains, beautiful. We left the land of jackrabbits and headed to the land of farming. For the first 20 miles we made great time, feeling well rested despite tired legs. As we kept riding, we encountered a short uphill followed by a flat, nothing steep but no breeze either.
