It's amazing the things you remember when you find yourself pedaling away from the pack along a gravely stretch of highway through the desert. With each stroke, I've found myself singing songs I hadn't thought about in years, pulling out old memories from the filing cabinets in the back of my mind, slurping sun-warmed water the temperature of a bath from my bottle. When I look back on the story leading up to this summer’s Ride:Well Southern Tour, all I can do is laugh and be thankful for the overwhelming goodness of God. To be honest, certain parts feel unbelievable – guy decides to go on a cross-country cycling tour. Guy is completely overwhelmed by all the help that comes from friends, family, and a few complete strangers.
